HOW TO SET FILE LOCKER FOR PC
At times, secrecy is the most imperative effect for all of us, primarily when you use a mutual computer in your family. You may be fascinated by protecting your file or folder from someone if by mistake opening and viewing the content of your mutual computer in your family. Therefore, you want to secure your folders and files of your computer, you are downloaded many software for that no one can access your important folders and files of your computer. But do you know that the option to lock folders and files is already have in the computer system which provides you with a choice to encrypt your files or folders?
You can simply lock any folders or files of your computer without using any software and secure your important folders and files on your computer.

The first way is to secure without any using software.
Simply there are (2) two ways to lock folders and files in computer pc.
The second way is to secure folders or files with the help of WinRAR software.

HOW TO LOCK FOLDER IN PC WITHOUT ANY SOFTWARE
First of all, you will create two (2) accounts on your computer.
one Administrator account, this will be your account that you will keep the password set there and
Second, you will create another guest account where you do not need to set a password.
Now log in with Administrator account in your computer where you will Right Click on the folder or file that you want to be locked then Click on Properties and Go to General and Click on Advance option and Tick on Encrypt Contents to Secure Data.
After That Tick on Encrypt Contents to secure data for which you click on “Apply”
Now you will see that the folder of yours has become green.
If you open the folder from the Administrator account then said folder will open. But if the folder is opened with a guest account then it will not be open.
This means that your folder is now secure.
At this time, if someone else wants to use your computer, then you can log off and log in with the guest account and give it to use the computer.
In this way, no one will be able to open or access your secure folder or files.
HOW TO SET PASSWORD AND LOCK FOLDER OR FILE ON COMPUTER
Apart from this, there is another way in which you can secure any folder or files of your computer. For this, WinRAR software must be installed in your computer system. By this method, you can lock any folder or file by applying your secret password.
So let’s learn how you can lock any folder or files by applying a password.
How to Set File Locker for PC
Firstly go to the folder or file to lock and Right-click on it.
After Right Click On Folder, Click Add To Archive…
Then Go to Advance and Click on Set Password
Now you enter a good password. Then Re-Enter the said password and click on.
Now a new WinRAR file will be created.
After that you can delete the old folder because of the same folder has now become a new WinRAR file and set the password

Now if someone wants to open that folder, then they have to enter the password firstly. Only then he/she will be able to open the folder.
So, friends, these are two (2) ways you can use to lock your computer’s folder or file. You can use whatever you find easy to use of said 2(two) ways.
